AREA is a not-for-profit organization with 100+ diverse members including businesses, trade groups, labor unions, educators, energy suppliers and generators, issues advocates and organizations and individuals. AREA works with its member clients to educate the public, media and public officials through advocacy initiatives to promote local and regional energy policies, and support members’ energy projects including siting, licensing and other regulatory matters.
